Brilliant plugin, thanks! Been grinning all day as I've been trying it out. I think my workflow plugin writing days may be over...
Just a suggestion: could you add baseurl into the available variables so we can put links into the email templates like we can with velocity templates?
It is in there but be careful of GRV-38, GRV-39.
Hi, just wondering if this has been included in the plugin proper yet? Thanks.
OK, thanks. By all means raise another issue if you are having problems.
Yes, as I said it worked in the Script Runner preview. There were other functions on the workflow but the only thing I changed between the transition not working and working was removing $baseUrl from the template.
However, I've upgraded the Groovy version to 1.7.10 (was 1.7.4) in case that was the problem and created a separate transition just to test sending the email. $baseUrl came through fine - the only problem is that I can't get it to send to more than one address (something I was already investigating separately).
So I've closed this down as $baseUrl worked on my test email.
I'm getting some odd behaviour with the custom email script (various errors logged and only one recipient gets send the email) so I'll keep digging and raise another issue if necessary.
Thanks for your help!
That's very odd because it works fine for me. Can you try it in preview mode with a sample issue key and see if that works? Also the stack trace has no references to my code... are there other functions on the workflow? Also can you post your email template please, perhaps there is some issue with storing it. I've seen a problem with this before.
