copy project built in script does not maintain link relationships in target project

Hi Jamie,

Jobin recommended I submit a request for the generic requirement of maintaining links after the copy.

Here's my example:

Project A
ABC-1 parent issue links to child ABC-2

Run copy project and bulk move script for Project A into Project B

Project B
BCD-1 loses relationship to BCD-2, based on project A hierarchy links

Look forward to a swift solution, as it seems the link relationships should be copied over since it is part of the project. It is currently a blocker for us, since we can't copy our template project to other projects without losing these link relationships.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi...

Not sure what you mean by bulk move script, I'm assuming you just ran the copy project plugin?

> BCD-1 loses relationship to BCD-2, based on project A hierarchy links

I don't think that's feasible. At best BCD-1 would link to ABC-1, which seems likely to be a more common requirement.

Hrm, my plugins aren't commercial unlike Jobin's so it doesn't really work like that. If you want to pay for a swift solution that's an option.

cheers, jamie
