Error when using example post function with JIRA 4.2

I'm having trouble getting the following example script from this plugin's website to run properly on my JIRA 4.2 installation with Jira Suite Utilities (jira-suite-utilities-0.7.14.jar) installed:

Here's the kind of error I get when I try and use this. I switched the pattern and the targetFieldName values a bit but you should get the idea:

Any idea what went wrong? Is this a problem you can duplicate with 4.2?

I think this will be a problem caused by Jira Suite Utils being a plugins 2 plugin... Here is an example that doesn't require it. I can't update confluence atm...

If the source or target fields are system fields as opposed to custom fields the code will need to be changed a little. I think that's why I used JSU in the first place, it allows one method regardless of whether it's a custom field or not.
